Feeling like your dancing has fallen into predictable patterns? The same moves, the same sequences, the same expectations? Your partner already knows what’s coming next and so do you. This workshop is designed to transform the way you dance. For leads, we’ll unlock exciting new possibilities within the moves you already know. By adding simple blocks, redirects, and changes of direction, you’ll instantly expand your repertoire, create more musical and dynamic dancing, and keep your follow engaged, surprised, and fully connected. For follows, this is where the magic happens. When a lead changes direction or breaks expectation, it creates real conversation in the dance, playful, responsive movement that goes far beyond memorised patterns. We’ll explore how to recognise these moments, respond naturally, and add energy, creativity, and personality without losing flow. Expect fresh ideas, playful interaction, and practical techniques you can use straight away on the social floor.

Head north on the A6 (Duffield Road) at the first island go straight across onto Broadway
Carry on until you come to a big island and take the 3rd exit onto the A6 Duffield road
Continue on until you pass a Shell petrol station and take the first left onto Park Lane. Follow this road, The Evergreen Hall will be on your right
From A38:
Follow signs for Allestree, going passed Markeaton Park, don't take the first slip road carry on up the A38 to next exit; the Allestree Palm Court Island
At the roundabout take the second exit onto the A6 Duffield Road, Continue on until you pass a Shell petrol station and take the first left onto Park Lane. Follow this road The Evergreen Hall will be on your right
