Your map to Modern Jive
JiveFinder helps Modern Jive and Ceroc dancers discover classes, freestyles and socials across the UK — by location, date and how far you’re willing to travel. Then turn any journey into a multi-stop dance route.
Most event lists just show you everything, everywhere. JiveFinder is map-led: tell it where you are and how long you’ll travel, and it shows only the dances you can actually get to — with real drive-time ranges drawn on the map, not just straight-line distance.
Set your location and an ideal / max travel time. JiveFinder draws live drive-time zones and lists every class, freestyle and social within reach.
Building a weekend of dancing? Add multiple stops and JiveFinder finds events at each one — plus dances on the way between them.
Narrow by day, date range and event type — classes, freestyles, socials and more — so you only see what fits your week.
Regulars use JiveFinder to squeeze more dancing into the week and find freestyles worth the drive. Newcomers use it to discover what Modern Jive even looks like near them. Same map, both welcome.
JiveFinder brings together Modern Jive and Ceroc events that are already listed publicly across the UK, geocodes them onto one map, and keeps them current. Coverage is growing all the time — if your night isn’t showing yet, it may simply not be listed somewhere we can read.
Anyone who has searched for a dance night knows the problem: the listings sites are full of clubs that stopped running years ago. You drive out to a village hall and the lights are off.
So we don’t republish those listings. Before an organiser appears on JiveFinder, we check their own website and confirm they are genuinely still running — either a dated event still to come, or a current class programme. A club that exists only as an out-of-date directory entry does not get listed here, however confidently that directory lists it.
Their events are then refreshed every day, straight from the source, so what you see is what the organiser is actually advertising.
We’d love to list your event or fix a listing. Claim your listing to correct it yourself, or get in touch through the support page.
